Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever would.
I don’t think there is anyone who has never doubted themselves.
Having doubts is a normal person’s reaction to risk, to the unknown, to change. Getting out of one’s comfort zone is never easy.
Having doubts is also the reason why many of us settle with “good enough”, “not too bad”, “grass is always greener on the other side”.
We are brought up with tons of concepts, ideas, beliefs and opinions that are not even ours. They were engraved onto our minds by our parents, by our social communities, by our friends, by people we look up to. Often we do not distinguish them from our own.
That is a problem.
We all thrive to live our lives the way we want. Life is a priceless gift, so why give it to someone else, live the scenarios that are imposed on us, and feel unhappy?
Fear is the root cause of most people’s disappointments, wasted time, wasted #opportunities. Do not let it hold you back. Look it in the eyes, and be sure that you have control over it. You are in charge. Fear slowly fades away when you do show it has no chance of keeping you from great results.
Confidence is a game changer. Be confident in your capabilities, experience, resilience, adaptability and perseverance. You got this!
Impostor syndrome makes you doubt your accomplishments, your skills and your future. Work on it, simply believe that everyone one of us is born to be happy, to be content and to be joyful.
Choose your path. Accept the rocks on it but see them merely as temporary blocks. Keep up the pace to your Mount Everest.
“Mistakes happen. It’s okay to make a mistake. That’s how we learn”.
This simple truth is taught to the first graders at school but somehow by the time we grow up, we forget about it and beat ourselves up for any minor thing that went wrong. Be like a first grader and repeat the “mistakes happen” #mantra every day until you live it.
I see one of my life missions as motivating people around me to live the best version of their lives.
I hope my flow of consciousness changes your perspective, and convinces you to take a leap of faith and go for whatever you want, need, and deserve.
After all, isn’t an “oops” much better than a “what if”?
