Yesterday we witnessed a grandiose event in the life of Ukraine in general and Ukrainians in particular.
Over 300 years of stolen church leadership of Russia over my country has finally ceased to exist.
The special council of Ukrainian clergymen of different denominations held in St.Sophia’s Cathedral in the hear of Kyiv resulted in election of a 39-year old Metropolitan Epifaniy as a leader of a united Ukrainian Orthodox Church. On our Christmas Eve, January 6, he will travel to Istanbul. There a special decree ( a tomos ) granting independence (autocephaly) to the new church from the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople will be handed to Metropolitan Epifaniy.
I am incredibly happy, so as millions of Ukrainians are. And let a KGB agent Patriarch Kirill write letters to the Pope or any other religious authorities-his anger and rage will only put him closer to the devil.
I believe that nothing and nobody will stop Ukrainian true spiritual blossoming.
Russians forgot one of the Ten Commandments: Thou shalt not steal. They will have to pay for the Crimea peninsula robbery as well as for occupying Eastern Ukraine. I have no doubts, that sooner or later they and their country, sank in lies and deception, will be held accountable for all its actions and all the deceit it is spreading around the globe 24/7.
We took our spiritual freedom back and we will take our territories back as well. Everything is in the hands of God. And I heard he doesn’t like liars…
